The Department of Thoracic Surgery provides services to those with benign or malignant Thoracic pathology including, Oesophagus, Lungs, Diaphragm, Mediastinium and Chest Wall.

Our Mission

• To provide a fast efficient and high standard service to the whole of the Yorkshire area
• To improve the quality of services through regular Audits and ongoing education.
• To contribute in research and teaching with special interest in promoting cancer services
• To provide and enhance relationship with other Institutions and individuals exchanging ideas at National and International level.
